Dear Eve and Abigail

Dear Eve and Abigail,

We miss you both very much. We all liked you both lots and lots. Often we think of you. We hope you like your new homes and new schools. Did you make any new friends yet?

Since you have left we made ice cream, we played football, did a mini-beast hunt, visited the playground and the zoo, made giant bubbles, and we did reader's theater. We learned how to make origami, where frogs and dragonflies come from, adding and swapping tens for ones, and subtracting by jumping to friendly numbers. We also learned about zoo animals. Did you know that lions and tigers can be heard from eight kilometers away?

We learned about keeping safe in water and at home. In gaeilge we were learning about food and writing our news. We also did lots of work on comprehension. Our teacher next year will be Ms. O' Hara. She is very nice.

What is it like where you live and go to school. Is it like ours?
If you can, write us a letter to: Ladyswell National School, Drumheath Gardens, Ladyswell, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15,

We hope you are both very happy and well,

Love from,

Your old class in Ladyswell
